Navigate Through Workers Comp with Bayside at the Helm

Bayside specializes in navigating through the problematic red tape of workers comp in the State of Florida. As a result, we are the fastest growing agency in our field in the State.   We will evaluate your situation and provide you with alternatives that make since and save costs.

Plan 1: Straight Comp
If your premium is $5,000 to $74,999 and you qualify, we will provide you with a discount and place you into a special dividend plan, the combination of which could save you a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 36% off your premium.

If your premium is over $75,000 and you qualify, you could save even more through discounts and dividends.  You must have had CONTINUOUS coverage to quality for a dividend plan.

Plan 2: Comp Through A Payroll Service
If time management is important to you and you wish to reduce your internal administrative costs, a Payroll Service may be the answer. We can provide you with the most competitive rates in the market.   In most cases, downpayment is only $200.00!

Plan 3: Comp Through Employee Leasing
Employee Leasing means leasing YOUR OWN employees back from the pooled resources of a much larger company.  If your business is NEW or for SMALL SUB-CONTRACTORS, Leasing has a program for $600/week minimum payroll.

The advantages of pooled resources become even greater with lower GROUP HEALTH CARE costs.

Companies with High Loss Ratios, High Experience Mods & Lapses in coverage may find Workers Comp many times through Leasing.

Why Should You Consider A Payroll Service Plan Or Employee Leasing?

With the escalating cost of doing business in today's environment, never has the expression "Time is Money", been more appropriate. Those of us who do not subscribe to strict internal time management are competing at a considerable disadvantage. To survive we must keep abreast of the new technologies available to us and use them when it is to our advantage.

Having your staff administer your payroll takes valuable time away from growing your business. We do not have to read the Dilbert cartoon strip to know that wasted administrative time is a drain on manpower and does little to stimulate sales, provide service to your customers or generate profits for your company.

Let outside experts make you more efficient by providing you with the following services:

  •  Assume all your payroll liabilities
  •  Deduct all your taxes
  •  Deliver accurate and timely payroll checks to you
  • Administer all payroll reports including year-end W2's
  • Administer all workers compensation liabilities
  • Offer little or no down payment for workers comp
  • Provide assistance with the administration of all claims
  • Deposit and file all required taxes (FICA, FUTA, SUTA, FWH)
  • Complete all necessary quarterly and year-end filings (940, 941, W2, W3, UCT-6)
  • And save money on your workers comp

Does Your Business Require Workers' Comp?

Number of Employees

  • The Florida Workers' Compensation Act is applicable if you have four or more employees or, if in the Construction business, one or more employees.
  • If you are a Sole Proprietor and your only employee is yourself, Workers' Compensation is not applicable (except in the Construction Industry).
  • If an Employer outside the Construction Industry with fewer than four employees chooses not to secure Workers' Compensation coverage, he/she must post written notice in a conspicuous location at each work site telling employees and others of their lack of entitlement to workers' compensation benefits.  For more information, please refer to Section 440.02, Florida Statutes.
